The winger who joined Inter in 2018 from Sassuolo has fallen down in the pecking order due to injuries and series of mediocre performances.
It is also fair to say that Politano does not fit well in Antonio Conte’s 3-5-2 formation therefore lost his place in the starting XI.
It is reported by multiple media outlets that Politano is being courted by Inter’s city rivals AC Milan who are willing to to do a straight up swap of players with no cash involved. However, Inter has placed a 25 million price tag on the 26-year-old player.
Inter is looking to strengthen their midfield and left wing-back positions and thus could use Politano as a bargaining chip in obtaining a useful player in return from their rivals.
