Yesterday’s international games featured 5 Inter players.
Italy vs Greece
Both Inter players played the full game, D’Ambrosio for 90′ despite suffering a mild knee injury in the first half and Barella was subbed out for former Inter youngster Niccolò Zaniolo in the 87 minute. They both had a pretty good game as Italy overcame Greece for a 2-0 victory to secure qualification to Euro 2020.
Colombia vs Cile
Alexis Sanchez played for 87′ before suffering an ankle injury that forced him off the game and that is going to be evaluated today. Conte is hoping that it is nothing serious for the striker that already missed the Juventus game.
Uruguay vs Perù
Diego Godin played the full 90′ as Uruguay’s captain while Vecino played for 67′. They both had a great game, with the midfielder being probably the MVP of the game according to local newspapers. Vecino dished out the assist for the 1-0 goal that won the game for Uruguay.
Today

El toro Lautaro is almost sure to be starting yet again for Argentina in their friendly game.
Slovakia vs Paraguay
Another friendly match and another Inter player that is 99% sure to be playing full 90′ is center-back Milan Skriniar.
Netherlands vs Belarus
Again De Vrij is going to start the game from the bench, as coach Koeman much prefer the De Ligt – Van Dijk partnership.
Austria vs Slovenia
Following the great performance in the first game, Lazaro is once again a starter tonight for Austria.
Good news for Conte
The best news is that Brozovic and Lukaku are not going to be part of Croatia and Belgium second games. The two are coming back to Appiano Gentile earlier than expected and can start working with Conte on the next matches.
Looks like D’Ambrosio is leaving Italy to do medical exams at Inter’s HQ for his knee injury.
Inter is playing Sassuolo next weekend and immediately after that Borussia Dortmund, that is likely to be crucial for the team’s future in the Champions League.
