Inter coach Antonio Conte met with the journalists today at the press conference held at the Suning Training Center ahead of the Torino match.

Coach Antonio Conte said “Finally we have all our players back after the International break. These guys have been playing all over the world. So it is difficult to prepare for a game after the break but they know its an important match and we need to be ready.”

Conte highlighted the players who are currently injured and are not available for the Torino clash. “We are in emergency situation. Sanchez and Politano are out as well as Sensi, Asamoah and Gagliardini.” Coach continued “Situation like this should motivate us even further. We know that we have to get the most out of all everyone to compensate our current situation. We have seven games before Christmas and we need to do well. Both in the Champions league as well in Serie A.”

Conte also responded to recent reports in the news regarding the threat letter “Let’s not give time to these episodes which are negative and morally harmful. The more time we give to them, the more negative messages we send. The less we speak about it, the better. There are people working on this and they’ll give me news.”

Conte shared his take on Mazzarri’s Torino side. He said “The relationship is excellent with Walter. We were in England together and also faced off there. We spoke for a long time about our experiences. I hold what he does in high regard and he’s doing very well at Torino.”

Finally, he praised his attacking duo “Lukaku is a very important player for us as is Lautaro. They’re both doing very well, the work they’re doing for the team also needs to be highlighted.”
