Another rollercoaster ride was on display when Inter took on their mid-table nemesis Sassuolo. A team that has always given Inter a tough time. The match resulted in a draw with both sides scoring 3 goals each.

Inter lost further ground on Lazio and Juventus and with only a handful of games remaining, it is seemingly more clear that the Scudetto dream is now truly over (almost).

Antonio Conte: “We had several chances to close the match. We managed to turn the game around but then conceded another equalizer. We committed too many errors at both ends of the pitch.”

Inter will take on Parma in 4 days’ time and with many players injured, it will be interesting to see how Antonio Conte decides to rotate the remaining players.
