Another tough outing for the men in Black and Blue. The Nerazzuri had to battle hard against a well-disciplined Hellas side to obtain all three points.

Antonio Conte was pleased with the result and stated that;

“It was a very complicated match. Verona is a difficult team to face. We showed impeccable patience and demonstrated great desire to win. We were very strong.

The players deserve all the praise, they are giving everything and growing. We are on the right path. We are satisfied with 31 points after 12 matches.

I believe things have gone better than we could have predicted. We go in to the break in form gives us good momentum.”

“Dortmund was a big disappointment. We had the result in our hands but we couldn’t secure three points unfortunately.

It’s part of our growth process. I am convinced we can get better. We are on the path of creating something wonderful and it was fantastic to overcome today’s adversity. Our aim is to continue in this fashion.”

Inter wing-back, Valentino Lazaro got another start in Serie A this evening and was sublime moving forward with the ball.

He caused some trouble for the defense by putting good crosses in. Later during his interview, he indicated that “It wasn’t easy out there today.

We were up against a team that defended really well. We played with courage and patience and then were rewarded with a win.

Coach told me to stay wide and put the crosses in, I am pleased that I managed to do that. I am an attacking player and I need to improve defensively even though I like to create opportunities like I did today.”

Nicolo Barella, Inter’s engine in the midfield put on another outstanding performance. Barella continues to perform at an exceptional level match after match.

It was his decisive curling goal in the top corner that gave Inter Milan the victory over Verona. He informed reporters that;

“In the first half we had some difficulties but we came out better and got the victory. We are working well and giving our very best. We must continue like this. This was one of the most beautiful goal of my career.”

Alessandro Bastoni performed well today after given another start in tonight’s match. He told the reporters:

“We really wanted to close out this fixture with a win. We managed to turn the game around after conceiving early on.

I don’t feel like I’m on the same level as my teammates in my position, but my goal is to work every day so that I can get closer to their level.”

Up next is the international break, after that the Nerazzurri will be back in action against Torino!
