The current Coppa Italia champions, Inter will square off against Serie B side, Parma in the round of 16 for the Coppa Italia.
The round of 16 will commence in January of 2023 when Inter will formally begin its title defense. Inter won the 75th edition of the Coppa Italia by beating Juventus 4-2 in 2022.
While Inter will look to maintain a strong charge for the Serie A summit, it will be equally important for Inzaghi’s men to set their sights on the Coppa Italia as well. The cup has increased its brand and image over the years and now many clubs aim to succeed and achieve the ultimate prize.
Inter will have a strong advantage over Parma going into this match but nevertheless, the competition will be fierce and can be full of surprises.
Parma currently is in 6th place in Serie B while Inter is in 7th place in Serie A.
