According to the front page of El Mundo Deportivo, Inter are to negotiate for Arturo Vidal in January.
Barcelona take on Inter in the Champions League this week, having already qualified for the round of 16.
The Spanish media outlet claims that the two sides will take advantage of this meeting to negotiate a deal for the Chilean.
Barca manager Valverde stated that Vidal is an essential player in his team and one that is always on his mind.
However, he does fear that he will leave to seek out for regular minutes which would be provided in Milan.
The Chilean midfielder has made only four starts this season for the Blaugrana despite scoring four goals.
