With Marcelo Brozovic now officially moving on to his new career in Saudi Arabia, Inter are ready to make more moves in this transfer market. After meeting with Sassuolo executive Giovanni Carnevali on Monday, Inter have reached a verbal agreement with Sassuolo and they want to close the deal within the next 24 hours.

Despite the strong interest coming from their city rivals in Milan and some advances from Napoli and AS Roma, Inter are now in the lead for Frattesi and they feel they could have a new midfielder by tomorrow.

Frattesi likes the potential destination and he is one of Simone Inzaghi’s mercato targets. As a result, the club management decided to make their move now to stay ahead of any increased competition. The player will move to Inter on loan with an obligation to buy for 26 to 27 million euros. In addition, the Nerazzurri will include the price tag of 22-year-old forward Samuele Mulattieri, valued at 8 million euros.

On Tuesday, AS Roma met with the Sassuolo management but found that Inter had the advantage and room for any maneuvering was limited. Similar for Napoli who tried to enter the negotiation, but Frattesi had already expressed his willingness to move to Inter.

According to Sky Sport Italia, Frattesi’s contract will be five years worth 2.8 million per season.
