Inter announced via inter.it that President Steven Zhang has made a 100,000 Euro donation to the L. Sacco Department of Biomedical and Clinical Sciences in Milan to combat Coronavirus.
The donation is largely to support the medical research and advancements activities led by Prof. Massimo Galli, Gianguglielmo Zehender and Claudia Balotta.
“Inter have an unbreakable bond with the city of Milan and is proud of the dedication with which all the staff of the Sacco Hospital is facing the exceptional situation” said President Steven Zhang.
Earlier this week Italian government announced that all sporting events to be played behind closed doors.
“Playing behind closed doors is the right thing to do, as we give priority to public health above all else. It is the only viable solution.” he added.
