UEFA and FIFA continued their pursuit to threaten European Super League teams with alarming sanctions and punishments. The protestors also took the matter to the streets and outside the stadiums. Resulting in “Founding Clubs” folding to these demands. One by one!
It didn’t take long for the majority of the clubs, including Inter to release an official statement, confirming their withdrawal.
Inter in their official statement: “We are committed to giving our fans the best football experience. Innovation and inclusion are part of our DNA since our foundation.”
“Inter believes that football, like every sector of activity, must have an interest in constantly improving its competitions. In order to keep on exciting fans of all ages around the world, within a framework of financial sustainability.”
