Inter is looking to offload former Tottenham midfielder, Christian Eriksen this January. The attacking midfielder joined Inter about a year ago for 20 Million Euros or so.
Eriksen has struggled to secure a starting place in Conte’s XI for the entire year. In spite of a few chances given to him, the Danish midfielder did not do enough to convince Conte.
Latest media reports suggest that Inter are keen and very much interested in swapping unhappy Eriksen with Arsenal’s Granit Xhaka.
Meanwhile, Xhaka was nearly sold last year after his altercation with fans during a match. Following his action, Arsenal took the captaincy from him.
He said during an interview, “I am very honest with everyone. I was very close to leaving the club.”
Although the Swiss international has been a crucial part of Mikel Arteta’s team, since the arrival of Thomas Partey and the re-emergence of Mohamed Elneny, he has not been a regular in the team.
The January transfer window is fast approaching and that Inter has already started working on this swap deal with Arsenal.
