After losing to Juventus right before the international break, Simone Inzaghi’s Inter are back in the league to challenge Vincenzo Italiano’s Fiorentina. The Nerazzurri, now third in the Serie A on 50 points, are looking for a win to secure a top four finish to guarantee entry to next year’s Champions League. The match between Inter and Fiorentina will be played tomorrow at the San Siro stadium.

Simone Inzaghi uses his classic 3-5-2 formation as usual with André Onana standing in goal. He will have some obligatory choices in defense with Danilo D’Ambrosio suspended and Milan Skriniar out with a back injury. As a result, the defense will consist of Stefan De Vrij joined by Matteo Darmian and Francesco Acerbi.

The injured Hakan Calhanoglu will not be in midfield as he is out for at least the next three games. Marcelo Brozovic will be controlling from the middle, while Nicolò Barella and Henrikh Mkhitaryan will complete the central midfield. Denzel Dumfries and Robin Gosens will get the start on the wings. In the attack, Lautaro Martinez will support Romelu Lukaku. The Belgian striker rejuvenated his season with the national team by scoring 4 goals in two games (against Sweden and Germany).

INTER (3-5-2): Onana; Darmian, De Vrij, Acerbi; Dumfries, Barella, Brozovic, Mkhitaryan, Gosens; Lukaku, Lautaro Martinez.

FIORENTINA (4-3-3): Terracciano; Dodò, Milenkovic, Igor, Biraghi; Bonaventura, Amrabat, Mandragora; Ikoné, Cabral, Saponara.
