Antonio Conte will be leaving Inter effective immediately after despite Inter’s historic season of winning the Scudetto after a decade.

According to Fabrizio Romano, Conte was not happy with the club’s future views and perspectives.

Conte was not in favor of the idea of selling 80 million euros worth of players to balance Inter’s books.

Conte’s stint lasted only 2 seasons with Inter, with one of them being the title-winning season. Inter will pay €7 million of the €12 million remaining on Conte’s contract.

Fabrizio Romano is reporting that Inter is looking at Massimiliano Allegri or Simone Inzaghi as possible candidates to take over the role.

Inter dominated the Serie A this season under Antonio Conte and won the title with a daunting 12 point gap.

Conte’s side broke Juventus’s stronghold in Serie A, ending their nine-year run of winning the league and is Inter’s first Scudetto since it’s treble-winning 2009-10 season under Jose Mourinho.
