After the dramatic draw with Parma Inter wasted a great opportunity to regain the leadership. Minutes after the game, in the post-match press conference Antonio Conte asked for new players for the midfield and the names of Ivan Rakitic and Arturo Vidal appear again on the map for Inter.
Inter is already moving for Rakitic. The Croatian is no longer happy with his situation at Barcelona and last week there was a first meeting between the two companies. Barcelona asks about 35M Euros and Inter would like to negotiate at a lower price.
There is still a distance between the clubs, but the relationship between the two clubs is excellent, which could make the negotiation a little bit easier.
On the other hand the Chilean Arturo Vidal found himself in the same situation. He is not happy in Barcelona and he is looking for more minutes. Inter evaluates him as an alternative to Rakitic or even in addition to the Croatian midfielder.
