An early Christmas present arrives for Inter fans at the end of 2019 as the ragazzi celebrate the 4-0 victory against Genoa.
Despite the many injuries, Inter dug deep to obtain three precious points.
Inter had to do without Lautaro Martinez and Brozovic for the first time all season. Borja Valero once again controlled the midfield.
Inter also rejoiced with the return of Roberto Gagliardini, who once again found the net vs Genoa.
Inter made it 3-0 mid-way through the 2nd half, with Gagliardini brought down in the box. Romelu Lukaku generously gave youngster Esposito a chance to score his first from the spot.
Espo made no mistake, slotting home to make it 3-0, kill the game, and enjoy a goal on his first start for Inter.
Lukaku found the net a second time after opening the scoring. His second half strike was brilliant after cutting into his favoured left.
Inter ends 2019 with 42 points, joint top of the table with Juventus.
