Stefano Sensi suffered an injury blow during the Napoli game which resulted in a hairline fracture to the navicular bone of his left foot.
The MRI results confirmed the injury and therefore his medical situation will reassessed next week.
Sensi had been dealing with a muscular problem for months, and had only returned to full fitness few weeks ago.
