Inter’s new wing-back Achraf Hakimi interacted with the fans over Live chat. The young Moroccan discussed many topics, such as objectives, inspirations, and shared his emotions of starting a brand new chapter of his career in Milan.
Hakimi shared his reasons for joining Inter and said: “I chose Inter because I think the coach’s style is similar to my way of playing and that could be very helpful to the team.”
“Antonio Conte is a great coach, with a really competitive mindset. He’s got a really great passion for football.”
When asked about his inspiration, childhood hero, and comparisons to the great Maicon. He said: “Samuel Eto’o was a source of inspiration. He made history. I always liked how he lived for football and that he’s a symbol of Africa too, my home.”
“I’ve always loved the way Marcelo plays, then I met him and could appreciate his personality even more. He is one of my favorites.”
“Maicon was an incredible full-back, with a lot of physicalities. Obviously I’d like to follow in his footsteps.”
