Last night in the 0-1 loss to Eintracht Frankfurt which saw Inter eliminated from the Europa League, two primavera players made their debuts, one of them being Sebastiano Esposito.

At the age of 16 and 255 days, Esposito became the youngest player to have debuted with Inter in the European Competitions, taking into account the Uefa Cup, Europa League and Champions League.

However, with regards to Europa League, Esposito is not the youngest Italian ever to have debuted in this competition. The record is still held by Gabriele Zerbo.

Therefore, Esposito is the second youngest Italian player to debut in the Europa League.
