According to Corriere dello Sport, Edin Dzeko and Danilo D’ambrosio will be in the lineup for Inter’s clash versus Torino on Sunday. The Bosnian striker wasn’t at 100% at Anfield but is now ready to help Inter in the domestic scene. It is still not certain who will partner Dzeko as Lautaro and Correa will fight for the spot.
In defense, Stefan De Vrij will not be cleared after the injury blow in the Champions League clash. Therefore, as in England, D’amrosio is ready to step in. As always, the Italian defender showed professionalism and played a wonderful 45 minutes against the likes of Mane and Diaz. He will against play as a RCB with Skriniar moving to the center and Bastoni keeping his position at the LCB.
In midfield there are still doubts on whether Brozovic will be able to start. In case he has to miss the game, Inzaghi will not use Barella, as he did in the loss to Sassuolo. Hakan Calhanoglu will play in front of the defense and Barella will keep his usual spot. The last decision that Inzaghi is still yet to take is regarding the LWB position. Robin Gosens, who is 100% fit, may make his first start for Inter to give Ivan Perisic a deserved rest.
