Federico Dimarco opened the scoring for Inter and from there the Nerazzurri never looked back. Dimarco was interviewed after the match.
“It is a victory we wanted and we are very happy to have achieved it.”
Dimarco was asked about the goal and how he felt after scoring.
“The goal? It was important, there are no emotions to describe this evening, it was beautiful, scoring in a derby in a Super Cup final is incredible.”
Finally, Dimarco was questioned about how the team prepared for the final against Milan.
“We knew it was going to be a one-off challenge, we took the field with the will to win and we did it.”
As an Interista, we can be sure that Dimarco grew up waiting for this moment and it’s finally come. Lastly, Federico has proven all the haters wrong. We knew that if he was given an opportunity he would take it. I’m glad to say he finally has!
