Matteo Darmian couldn’t hold back his joy after scoring the decisive goal to advance Inter into the Coppa Italia semi-final.
“I feel good within the group and the team. Also, I feel everyone’s trust and I think this is fundamental. I try to always be ready.
“Derby climate? Yes, it’s always a special match. Now we are enjoying this victory which allowed us to reach the semi-final and from tomorrow we will already be thinking about the derby.
“The most difficult matches for football players are also the easiest ones to prepare for because in addition to the tactical aspect, the motivational aspect also counts. Surely we are succeeding in this aspect in this period.
“We need to improve on continuity and it reflects the championship where we are a bit late. But there’s still time and we’re in all competitions, where we’ll give our all between now and the end of the year to hit all our goals.”
Darmian has scored some important goals since joining Inter, and today was no different. A finish which even a striker would be proud of, well done Matty Darmz!
