Curva Nord to Skriniar “Stay with us!”

“SKRINIAR, YOU ARE OUR CAPTAIN. YOU ARE THE BOSS OF MILAN. STAY WITH US!” was displayed on the banner of Inter’s Curva Nord.

The original in Italian – “SKRINIAR, SEI IL NOSTRO CAPITANO. SEI PADRONE DI MILANO. RESTA CON NOI.”

This comes after speculation that Inter and Skriniar are struggling to find an agreement on wages. Skriniar is yet to re-sign with Inter as his contract expires in June. Losing Skriniar would be heartbreak for Inter fans as our newest capitano.

A fan favourite is in danger of leaving the club and for free too! One of the greatest centre-backs in the world at the moment leaving would be disastrous for the club.

Apparently Skriniar is wanting close to €7-7.5mil, where Inter are holding firm at €6-6.5mil. For the love of the fans, wake up Mr. Zhang and pay Skriniar what he deserves. This is especially after PSG have offered over €10mil for Skriniar’s services.

There has also been reports that Skriniar’s situation will be sorted by January 20th. We don’t know why this date has been chosen, but hopefully we get some good news. Although for now, it’s all speculation.

Props to the Curva, as even though most fans don’t agree with in situations, this is definitely one that all Interisti will agree on. Skriniar is the future of this club and should be the captain for years to come.
