Joaquin Correa was interviewed by Inter TV discussing the Spezia match and his own brilliant supersub performance.
“It was tough but we went out there with the right mindset and managed to take the lead so we’re all happy.
“We’re getting there as that (conceding goals) was less the case in pre-season. We’re focused and determined to get even better both defensively and going forward.”
Correa then spoke more about his goal and what he can add to the team.
“Starting with a goal like that is massive, but to be honest I care more about the team winning. The goal is important but I can help the team in other ways.
“I’m trying to find my best form, the sort I showed in previous years before last season and just give my all.”
It was then discussed about Inter having four strikers in the team, with any being able to be injected into any match.
“The good thing is we bring different qualities to the table. We all play different ways and have different skills, and I think that’s important. The boss has plenty of options. We’re all working to help the team win.”
Correa was asked about the packed house at San Siro, and the crowd going crazy.
“It was wonderful. There were so many people. It was like the last game of the season. They gave us so much help. We need everyone working together to achieve our goals.”
