A horrendous second half performance by Inter allowed Dortmund to storm back in to the game and win all three points. Inter’s coach Antonio Conte expressed his views on this defeat by saying “Today, what happened in Barcelona happened again. Perhaps even worse because we were ahead in this game.”
He added “I don’t want to give any alibi for this defeat. I hope these games allow us to understand some things. We work hand and always give 200%. I find it hard to scold the boys rather I have to thank them for what they are giving and doing, which is not easy. This defeat annoys me and my team. We are Inter and we must examine the result and continue to work with our heads up and foot on the pedal.
