Giorgio Chiellini, who is releasing an autobiography next week, has particularly pointed out two former Inter players in his book.

The 35 year old Juventus captain and defender said that Balotelli “deserved a slap” following a poor performance he had while playing for the Italian national team.

The reason behind his comments, confirms Bonucci, was Balotelli’s poor behavior during the Confederations Cup and particular poor performance against Brazil back in 2013.

“Some people thought he was among the top five strikers in the world, but I never even considered him in the top 20”

“However, there was someone worse. Felipe Melo.”

Chiellini went on to tell La Repubblica that there was no love lost between him and his former Juventus teammate and Inter midfielder Felipe Melo.

Giogrgio Chiellini declares that Melo was “a rotten apple in the dressing room” and that he let the management know that he could not cope with him.
