Hakan Calhanoglu was obviously delighted after beating his former club 3-0 to win Inter’s second successive Supercoppa trophy.
In an interview with Sportsmediaset, Hakan was obviously showing some emotion through the interview. He didn’t appreciate the way Milan celebrated their Scudetto last season. Especially when they singled out Calhanoglu in their celebrations.
This was karma as he said, and a 3-0 smashing was exactly what he wanted.
“Victory very important, even more so for me. I’m very happy, thanks to my team-mates and the fans who came here. We won 3-0, you can’t say much.
“Do I want revenge after Milan’s Scudetto party? Sure. I prefer to keep quiet but it was hard for me to see certain things, but karma comes back. We were hungry, they have to respect us. It ended 3-0 and we sent them home quickly, we ate them.
“Now let’s think about Monday, we believe in it until the end for the Scudetto. With Napoli we started very well, then the draw from Monza arrived that no one expected. Then we won against Verona and today we must continue like this. I believe it.”
