Inter will take on newly promoted Brescia mid-week as the fixture congestion piles up for Conte’s men.
After struggling to a 2-2 draw over the weekend to Parma, Inter will need maximum points in order to keep tabs on Juventus at the top of the table. As well as this, Atalanta are lurking and looking to mount a title challenge of their own, while Napoli are also always in the mix.
Despite adding loads of quality to their squad, Inter’s depth and quality off the bench has let them down as of late. Currently, Alexis Sanchez & Stefano Sensi have picked up sidelining injuries backing Conte into corner.
The Inter manager was vocal following his sides draw with Parma, highlighting his concern over his squads depth:
“The worry is growing because the number of games is increasing, and the players are always the same.
“We must continue because these guys are exceptional, they gave everything tonight except the blackout of the first half.
But I understand that physical and mental fatigue can occur and that is difficult to manage, playing every three days matches like these there is a significant energy expenditure.”
