All sporting events in Italy will be played behind closed doors until April 3 as a result of the coronavirus outbreak.
In an official statement set by the Italian government, all sporting events in Italy will be affected, not just Serie A. This ruling will be enforced across the entire nation.
This decision comes after the number of positive cases in Italy surged to over 3,000, including 107 deaths and also pressure from Inter’s president Steven Zhang who took it to social media calling the FIGC vice president, Dal Pino, a clown.
