Inter have announced today that manager Luciano Spalletti will no longer continue his career at the club following the recent 2018/19 campaign.
The club wrote; “FC Internazionale Milano can confirm that Luciano Spalletti is no longer head coach of the first team. The club wishes to thank Spalletti for his work and the results achieved together.”
A season full of optimism and high hopes quickly turned into a campaign of chaos, with new 35 million euro signing Raja Nainggolan falling out of form, Mauro Icardi being stripped of the captaincy and of course, constant struggles with the media.
The announcement comes in wake of the intensifying news that Antonio Conte is going to be named the new manager of Inter in the coming hours. Inter however, have made no formal statement regarding Conte.
