Bastoni: "We Want The Scudetto"

Alessandro Bastoni and Simone Inzaghi have both received match bans from Lega Serie A following the Derby Milano controversy. Lautaro Martinez has also been fined.

Alessandro Bastoni has been suspended for two games by the Sporting Court, which means he will miss the upcoming match against Napoli at the Stadio Maradona.

Bastoni was removed after 82 minutes, but he was involved in a touchline brawl with Theo Hernandez, who was sent off in the closing minutes of the game. According to the Sporting Judge, Bastoni was suspended due to his repeated insults directed at one of the referee’s assistants.

Lautaro Martinez was only fined with no suspension after the viral altercation of him allegedly “spitting” (later was proved he did not) on Theo.

Inzaghi was also banned for one game for the same reason, despite the fact that he targeted the referee inside the locker room. In addition, the Nerazzurri coach was fined €15,000.

Milan’s Theo Hernandez received a one match ban after his crunching tackle in the dying minutes of the game.
