Matchday 8 saw Inter earn three points against Torino. Alessandro Bastoni spoke to Inter TV after the match.
“We certainly started badly, we got our approach to the match wrong. We were perhaps impacted by our commitments in the international break, which a lot of us played in. It’s not an excuse, but it can have an influence. We then did well to turn things around in the second half. We can’t let our opponents go ahead, that can’t happen. There are another nine matches now from here to Christmas and we’ll have to approach them as though they’re finals. We’ll try to win them all.”
The Italian defender has shown great improvement and the necessary talent to start on Conte’s side. Should he start on Wednesday against Real Madrid?
