One of the midfielders that Inter are targeting to improve the midfield next season is Barcelona’s midfielder Ivan Rakitic whose contract is set to expire in 2021.
Last summer Rakitic rejected an offer from PSG who offered him a huge pay rise. In fact, last month, Rakitic said he has no plans on leaving Barcelona even though de Jong will be joining Barcelona next season. The player does however expect an improved contract after he rejected PSG.
However, according to ESPN FC, Barcelona are not planning on offering the midfielder an improved contract and although they do not want to sell him, they could end up doing so.
