Antonio Conte is rumored to be teeing up a reunion with former Chelsea pupil N’Golo Kante.
The French midfielder has started 20 Premier League games this season, subsequently leading to questions about his future.
Kante will have fond memories of his time under Conte, winning the 2017 Premier League trophy under the current Inter boss.
The news gathered traction when Gazzetta dello Sport announced that Inter could take Kante off Chelsea’s hands.
Chelsea boss Lampard recently spoke of the idea:
“We will see how we are pre-season. I am happy to look at managing a player like him, with the level he has reached in previous years in his career. That will be a very open conversation between myself and N’Golo and our strength and conditioning coach and our medical team.”
