Inter’s midfielder, Stefano Sensi, has returned from his thigh strain injury and resumed first-team training today. The 24-year-old picked up an injury in Derby d’Italia and was left out of Italy’s Euros qualifiers.
With three goals and four assists from his first seven Serie A games with the Nerazzurri, Antonio Conte and Inter knew what a loss he would be to the squad. With that came fear that the Italian will miss the Sassuolo clash this Sunday.
However, the Nerazzurri captured a video of Sensi training with his teammates on Wednesday.
It now remains to be seen whether Antonio Conte will risk throwing him straight back in this weekend. It is however reported he will come off the bench with Vecino taking his position.
