With the most recent International break behind us and the return of League action, the injury fall out is beginning to hit hard for Inter. The injury picked up by Sanchez while on duty for Chile, leaves Inters attacking options very limited. Enter rumors of a January move for Giroud.
Giroud at Chelsea
The French man currently is under contract with Chelsea until the end of the current season. For now Giroud is back up striker to Tammy Abraham. With playing time for the 33 year old coming from cameo appearances off the bench under current manager Frank Lampard.
As has been the case with numerous deals Inter have completed in the recent windows, a loan move with an option to buy is been touted.
The deal will of course depend on Giroud. Whether he chooses to continue at Chelsea and fight for his place or if the status quo remains until January and he forces a move to get regular first team action.
Time will tell if Inter feel the need to make a January move for Giroud.
