Handanovic – 7.1 – made some crucial saves when called upon in the first half. Went bananas on a defensive lapse, which turned out to be nothing but a test of Lecce’s will. 1 for 1 in clean sheets.

Skriniar – 7.3 – held it down in the back. Rarely put to the test but a solid outing

Ranocchia – 7.3 – Got his chance to start as De Vrij went down in the warm ups. A rock in the back.

D’Ambrosio – 7.4 – Piece of cake for him today. The guy can play through the whole back line with no problem at all.

Asamoah – 7.5 – Was exposed at times defensively, but was a constant threat going forward putting in dangerous balls and creating havoc for Lecce defenders.

Candreva – 8.2 – Conte’s Candreva is a new man. A great game overall, some loose passes at times, but the gameplan was to get him and Asamoah the ball out of the back and they did just that. Scored a bombasso to go along with a good performance.

Brozovic – 8.5 – Kick started Inter’s season with a fabulous goal. Worked his ass off.

Sensi – 9.1 -Another midfielder with a goal. The focal point of the attack. Got everyone involved going forward, lots to come from this one.

Vecino – 6.6 – Blended into the team. nothing special, yet didn’t hurt us

Lautaro – 6.8 – Unlucky to not have scored a goal tonight. Missed a great chance with his head in the beginning and a couple other decent chances. Clicked well for a first outing with Lukaku next to him and Sensi behind him.

Lukaku – 7.8 – An excellent debut for the summer’s most expensive signing. We expected his first touch to be rough, but he was a beast and ran right by defenders at times and created chances going forward. 1 game 1 goal. His strength height and his speed (wasn’t expecting to include that) add another element to Inter’s mixed bag of an attack.

Politano – 6.6 – Came on and almost added a stunning goal to be called offside. instant impact.

Gagliardini – 6.1 – Nothing worth noting

Barella – 6.2 – made his Serie A debut with Inter, that’s all for today
