Speaking to DAZN microphones, Inter’s winger Matteo Politano spoke about his experience at the derby, his future and his relationship with Spalletti and his team mates.
“The derby? This was my first major derby I played and for me it was an even better feeling. When you see the Milan derby it’s always full, there are great players on the pitch and it’s nice to play with them.”
“My future? I had my ups and downs, I wasn’t used to playing so much and I had a physical decline every now and again, now I’m quite happy. Now there are ten games and I will try to do my best, I want to be redeemed and it would be nice to stay here.”
“My relationship with Spalletti? Beautiful, we often talk. He gives me so much advice. He tells me to be ‘meaner’ and that is exactly what I miss.”
“The group? Everyone feels important and we are all at a high level. The important thing is that every gives his 100% because if you go on the pitch giving 90% the team struggles. With whom I am close with? With Radja, Berni, Padelli, Ranocchia, but I’m fine with everyone.”
