After several weeks without playing, officially due to a knee injury, in reality because of the decision of stripping him from captaincy, Mauro Icardi is reportedly closey watched by Real Madrid once again.
Marca, the Spanish newspaper, reports that considering the tensions between Inter and their ex-captain could push la Casa Blanca to bid for the 26 year old striker.
According to Marca, Icardi’s current situation will allow Real Madrid to do a hold-up kind of deal. In fact, the current situation already caused Icardi’s value to drop by €10m compared to last season, from €100m to around €90m. A figure that represents the double of what Real Madrid as supposedly ready to offer.
It is highly likely that Mauro will quit the Giuseppe Meazza by the end of the season. However, Inter are very unlikely to accept such a low offer.
