Inter Worldwide will be analysing each position during this transfer window. Where can Inter improve? Do we have the financial capacity this winter? Keep reading to find out more:
Part V: Right Midfield
If there is a position where we are pretty covered at the moment, right Midfield is definitely it! Spalletti has always had a privileged game style where the wings can be the ultimate force, so Ausilio tried to do his best to give all the ammo he could to our coach.
This season we have Politano starting most frequently on the right, taking Candreva’s spot after a couple of shaky performances.
In my humble opinion, he is probably the most positive surprise of 2018. We will need €20M to officially own his “cartellino” but I thing it is money well spent. On the other hand, Candreva, so far very professional in his bench acceptance, will probably leave he club.
This along with the loan deal for Keita Balde who is in form suggests that this position will go unlooked at untilsummer. However, the following options are:
Unless you just started following Inter just this season, you should remember this name! He was the “loose cannon” that last year was often used by Spalletti to change the games in the second half and who can forget his goal of the season against Bologna.
This season he is on Loan at Bordeaux, so far playing 14 games and scoring a couple of goals and one assist. For this reason the French team is trying to sign him permanently, offering €15M or Aurelien Tchouameni in exchange, the 18-year-old french midfielder considered to be the “new-Vieira”.
Southampton seems interested too, are we ready and willing to sacrifice this incredible young prospect, who already left a really good impression at the San Siro?
Possible move in January: 0% Possible move in the summer: 90%
Club: SC Braga
Agent: Jorge Mendes.
In these last hours there are a lot of rumours about this young Portuguese player, who still have to play a full 90′ in the first senior team at Braga B but had a wonderful season in the young selection, especially with his National team, where he won the Golden Boot at the European Under-19.
He’s primarily a right winger but can also play as a secondary striker since he doesn’t lack goal instinct (11 in 16 games with the Under-19). Unfortunately his agent is Jorge Mendes, the same of Ronaldo and Cancelo, and this is the reason why the youngster seems destined to join the Old Lady despite the strong interest from Roma, Chelsea, Man City and of course Marotta.
Our last option to deal with Mendes after the very recent meeting between the agent and Juve’s Paratici. Apparently they should already have a deal for a €2M loan for January with a final transfer fee of €13M in the summer.
